Emaar Malls Group is offering visitors the unprecedented opportunity to win everything they desire this summer through an innovative promotion that spans all its malls, retail and leisure developments in Dubai.
Emaar Malls Group, the shopping mall subsidiary of Emaar Properties PJSC, is partnering with Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE) for the ‘Summer in Dubai’ campaign that integrates Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), Ramadan in Dubai and Eid in Dubai to offer a summer of fun for visitors and residents in Dubai.
Flagging off the celebrations, The Dubai Mall, the flagship development of Emaar Malls Group, hosted the opening ceremony of Dubai Summer Surprises at its Waterfall Atrium.
‘Summer in Dubai’ will be held until September 1, 2011, and to complement the festive mood, Emaar Malls Group has launched an ‘Everything You Desire This Summer’ promotion across all its malls - The Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, Souk Al Bahar and Gold & Diamond Park until July 31.
By spending AED 300 at any of the four shopping and leisure destinations, customers get a raffle coupon that opens a world of prizes. These include AED 15,000 in National Bonds daily and Emirates Holidays couple’s packages inclusive of two return tickets on the award-winning Emirates airline and four nights’ accommodation in Mauritius, Maldives, Seychelles Johannesburg or Cape Town in South Africa. The grand prize is AED 50,000 worth of National Bonds savings certificates.
Emaar Malls Group and Emirates Holidays have joined hands with Constance Le Prince Maurice Resort in Mauritius; MAIA Resort and Spa in Mahe, Seychelles; Velassaru Resort in Maldives; Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town; and The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City, South Africa for the promotion.
The activities at The Dubai Mall included the EPIC Dubai Sustainable Living Expo which put the spotlight on environmental sustainability and eco-friendly lifestyle practices. From the end of June to July 2, the Waterfall Atrium will host the Lazy Town, Hamley’s store will host a Super Summer Event from June 30 to July 31, while the mascot of DSS, Modhesh, will meet and greet visitors from July 3 to 5. Sweet Strawberries will provide roaming entertainment from July 14 to 15, while the Star Atrium will host Min Biladi from July 17 to 26, and the Fashion Catwalk will regale fashion lovers with the Shaila and Abaya Fashion Show from July 27 to 29.

Souk Al Bahar is an Arabesque shopping and entertainment development located near The Dubai Mall with 100 stores including more than 22 food and beverage outlets framing the souk’s waterfront promenade. Waterfront dining at Souk Al Bahar offers some of the finest views of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building; and The Dubai Fountain, the world’s tallest performing fountain.
With over 120 retail outlets, Dubai Marina Mall provides an exciting mix of tenants including a supermarket, fashion wear, accessories, jewellers, boutiques, book & toy shops and children entertainment, in addition to a food court and the 6-screen premium Reel Cinemas.
The Gold & Diamond Park, on Sheikh Zayed Road, has 90 retail outlets dedicated to the gold and jewellery trade. A sought-after shopping destination, it also has several cafés and a restaurant to cater for shoppers and neighbouring businesses. Jewellery enthusiasts have the option of commissioning their own designs and have them handcrafted within a short time frame at the onsite manufacturing site.
